The Oriole Advocates have been described as "a unique group
of men and women from all walks of life joined by an unflinching love of baseball." Members come from all backgrounds
and from all over the greater Baltimore area.
New members must be sponsored
by two regular or life members of the organization, serve a minimum of two full years as a provisional
member, and are expected to participate at a measurable level in all areas of Advocate activities before being elevated to
regular membership.
