Orioles Hall of Fame Luncheon

The 2008 Orioles Hall of Fame Luncheon will be held in the Camden Club at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Friday, August 8th from 12:00pm-2:00pm; cash bar from 11:00am-12:00pm.

Tickets are $50 each. VIP tickets are available for $100 each, which includes priority seating at the luncheon, admission to the VIP reception room, autographed picture of Gregg Olson, and a picture with Gregg Olson. Sponsor tables are also available for $975/table of 10.

A silent auction will be held by IronClad Authentics.

This year's honorees are:

Gregg Olson, Hall of Fame -- the Orioles' all time leader in saves and the 1st reliever ever to win the American League Rookie of the Year award.

Phil Itzoe, Herb Armstrong Award -- long-time Orioles' traveling secretary, is in his 41st season in charge of the team's travel plans and has logged more seasons in this position than any person ever in the four Major team sports.

"Wild Bill" Hagy -- the first recipient of an award named after him. "Wild Bill" was well known for leading "The Roar from 34" in his upper deck section at Memorial Stadium in the '70s and '80s, sometimes coming down to the top of the dugout to lead the crowd in cheers by spelling out "O-R-I-O-L-E-S"
